The site and the problem
The homeowner wanted more usable sheltered space for everyday family activities and storage, while keeping part of the deck open to the outdoors.

What the client needed
- Enclose only the selected deck area.
- Fit the existing roofline and weatherboard exterior.
- Balance daylight with privacy.
Design and installation approach
The sunroom was measured to suit the existing deck and house. Its footprint leaves a portion of the outdoor area outside the enclosure.
Polycarbonate roofing admits natural light. Insulated lower panels provide a more private base to the walls, while the upper areas keep the room visually connected to its surroundings.
The result
The elevated home has an additional enclosed deck area and retains an outdoor section. The room combines a bright roof with lower panels that limit direct views inside.
